Numerous innovations and improvements from Lehmann

Three years after the Lehmann Group takes over Huwil-Locks, both companies have completed the process of consolidating their product ranges and technical expertise. This now provides users with a comprehensive line-up of technologically advanced products as the basis for giving the domestic and foreign markets a diverse range of locking options and different security levels.

The lock specialist was quick to identify the relevant client aspects while harmonising them across all product lines. Reflected in flexibility, diversity and rational production, this produces additional benefits for the client.

The innovations and improvements Lehmann is showing at ZOW 2012 in short:

The new case and espagnolette locks can be used with both the “Prestige” as well as the “VCS 18.2” interchangeable cylinder systems. The special “Prestige Signal” cylinder core or the “Z77 Trikey” cylinder that can be supplied as a master-key system for “VCS 18.2” is compatible with the new lock range.

Among the new glass-door locks, the tried and proven latch bolt mechanism from the “VCS 18” range has been applied to the “Prestige” series. “VCS 18.2” clients are set to benefit from the interchangeable cylinder system that’s now available throughout.

For all relevant lock types and irrespective of cylinder system, Lehmann has introduced a retrofit key-retention feature that can also be taken out again at any time with the lock in place.

Standardising the electroplated surfaces enhances system compatibility.

While “VCS 18.2” customers can now use the “FlexiKey” folding key models or the “Opaline” cylinder key from the “Prestige” range, “Prestige” clients can offer “Z77Trikey” master key systems in combination with “VCS 18.2” locks.

In the disc tumbler segment, the “Z65” and “Z77 Trikey” cylinder systems provide no fewer than 3,800 keyed-to-differ combinations for the contract market.
