interzum Cologne, 16 – 19 May 2017

Three design awards for Samet best sellers

At interzum 2017, Samet will be presenting not just one but three fitting systems that have been awarded with the iF Design Award 2016. The “alphabox” and “Smartflow” drawer systems as well as the elegant “d-lite lift” lift-up fitting impressed the international jurors through their form, function and material. The strong arguments for industrial and trade use of the prize-winning ranges are, with the iF Design Award, strengthened with a much respected, neutral appreciation. At the same time, the prize is a decision-making aid when it comes to the trend-oriented furnishing of modern furniture.

The iF Design Award logo is a worldwide renowned design quality seal and symbol for design excellence. Approximately 5,000 products from an average of 70 countries are entered into the competition each year. The goal set by the initiators at the start of the 1950’s still applies today – to sustainably strengthen the public awareness of design. The iF Design Award, which has been awarded annually since 1953, is today the globally accepted symbol for excellent form, aesthetic quality and consumer-oriented, ergonomic and efficient design. At the same time, iF International Forum Design GmbH, the organizer of the award, also emphasizes the fact that the award helps award winners to strengthen their market position.
