The Lehmann Group

With its headquarters in Minden/Germany, the family-run LEHMANN Group is regarded as one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of mechanical and electronic locking systems for the furniture industry. Employing around 300 members of staff, the company develops and produces at three sites in Germany. The lock specialist supplies the furniture-making industry in over 30 countries on all five continents.

The LEHMANN Group’s current market position stems from its commitment to quality, reliability and flexibility. Geared to the specific requirements of individual customers, LEHMANN resolutely practices delivery systems, such as just-in-time or just-in-sequence, using proven e-kanban and “e2e” (end-to-end) processes.

The LEHMANN Group took over Huwil Locks in April 2009. Bringing together the specialized technical lock expertise of both companies will underpin forward-looking advancements in the LEHMANN Group’s mechanical and electronic lock systems.
