6. Social Plugins

6.1. Facebook Plugin

It is one of our core competences to inform about our customers as we communicate our activities to the public. This includes that we use plugins to be able to offer a connection into the social and internationally operated network of “Facebook”. For European use, this network is operated by Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland. You can recognize the plugins by the Facebook logos (like, share, send etc.).

Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and guarantees to observe to European data privacy laws under (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active).

If a user calls up a function containing such a plugin, his or her device automatically connects to the Facebook servers, whereby we have no influence at all to the amount of data volume, to possible processing and use of user data transmitted that way.

By the embedded plugins, Facebook is able to allocate the visit of our Facebook site to your user account, especially when you are logged in to your Facebook account. If you do not have a Facebook account, you should generally assume that your IP address is still recognized and stored.

Facebook publishes its own privacy policy under: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

6.2. YouTube Plugin

For the integration and presentation of video contents, our website uses YouTube plugins. The provider of this video portal is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

An embedded YouTube plugin automatically builds up a connection to the YouTube servers if you call up a site. That way, YouTube gets to know which of our sites you have called up.

YouTube is able to allocate your browsing behaviour directly to your personal profile if you are logged on to your YouTube account. You can avoid that by logging off previously.

We use YouTube to make our online offer even more appealing for the user. This is a legitimate interest in terms of Art. 6, para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Any details regarding the use of personal data can be found in YouTube’s privacy policy under: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
